My work as a psychotherapist is very important to me and I am deeply committed and devoted to it. I believe it is an honour to connect with my clients, to be present with them, help educate, guide, process and empower them to live the healthiest lives possible.

All therapeutic work done at The Oxford Development Centre is personally tailored to each individual client. My approach is theoretically integrative, evidence-based treatment including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye movement De-sensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Comprehensive resource Model (CRM), Compassion and Mindfully-Based, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Focused and bodily oriented through the use of Calatonia treatment.

I work closely and collaboratively together with clients who have a wide range of mental health, personal growth and development issues. One area of specialisation is Trauma, including PTSD, Military PTSD and Complex and Childhood Trauma. Other areas of particular interest and experience are Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Eating Disorders, Self-Esteem issues, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

I am deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of those who have experienced trauma and I have, over the years, developed a deeper understanding of many complex issues and suffering. My work as a psychotherapist is based in honouring and deeply respecting each individual and where they are in their lives. I hope to provide a careful, respectful and safe relationship in which to conduct therapy.

“We all want to avoid pain, make it disappear. But when it’s impossible to make the pain disappear you can go toward it rather than running away. You can become softened by it”
