During these unprecedented times, we are continuing to provide therapy and nearly all aspects of our comprehensive psychology service online. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed by the COVID-19 pandemic or you’re looking to continue your therapeutic journey for other aspects of your life, we are here to help you through it.
As a result of the current Coronavirus pandemic, we are currently conducting all therapy online until social distancing measures have been sufficiently relaxed to resume therapy at our treatment centres. As we already have many years experience working with remote clients in different parts of the country and abroad, we’ve been able to implement this transition confident in the effectiveness of this way of working.
Our online therapy sessions provide all of the benefits of our face to face sessions while allowing you to stay within the comfort of your own home. You will have sessions with a dedicated, highly trained, psychologist or psychotherapist who will work with you during scheduled video calls to overcome any particular issues you are facing in your life.
Online Yoga Classes
Unfortunately, our Craniosacral and Calatonia treatments are currently on hold as they are both body-oriented therapies which require being physically present with the practitioner. The good news is that we’re now offering online yoga sessions as an alternative body-focussed therapy. Each weekday there will be a class available for you to join from home. These are wonderfully calming classes, comprising a blend of asanas with breathing awareness and a deep focus on spiritual wellbeing and resilience.
In the face of all the uncertainty and change which the COVID-19 pandemic is bringing, there are many inspirational thinkers and speakers who have been lighting the way and providing resources to nourish our spiritual strength. We’ve created a list of some of our favourites here.
COVID-19 And Alcohol
During uncertain times such as our current COVID-19 lockdown, alcohol has the potential to become more than just an occasional relaxing treat. Instead, it could quickly become an unhealthy escapism for those struggling to assimilate the unexpected changes to their daily lives.
Coming Out Of COVID-19 Lockdown
As the Coronavirus lockdown begins to ease, we all face new challenges trying to find our way back into a world beyond the confines enforced by government pandemic restrictions. This return to a broader horizon is exciting in so many ways. At the same time, making the transition while the COVID-19 threat is still present has the potential to add a sense of fear and anxiety to many people’s lives.
